Pastor Adam Brasich grew up in southern Wisconsin, not too far away from Madison. He moved to Crawfordsvillle, Indiana, to attend Wabash College, which is a small liberal arts college for men. He majored in religion (particularly in contemporary theology and New Testament studies). After college, he went on to grad school at Florida State University, where he earned a M.A. and Ph.D. in American religious history. While in Tallahassee, he volunteered extensively at his church and felt a call to the pastoral ministry. So, after wrapping up his Ph.D., he decided to go back to school (again!). He exchanged the white sand beaches of North Florida for the white, snow-covered prairies of southern Minnesota and attended Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary, which is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. He served Resurrection and Our Savior Lutheran Churches in Central Florida from 2020-2023, first as a vicar and then as their pastor. He then accepted the call to serve at Hope, where he was installed as pastor in October 2023.
Pastor Brasich is excited to call Utah home. If he’s not in the office, there’s a good chance he’s hiking around Antelope Island, checking out some obscure Fremont Culture rock art, grieving yet another Jazz loss, or doing research in the Church History Library downtown.
Please always feel free to stop by the church to visit with Pastor Brasich. If he is not there, please call and leave a message, and he will get back to you as soon as he can.
